Country Singapore
Base Tengah Air Base
Aircraft 6 x F-16C Fighting Falcon

The Black Knights are a temporary aerobatic team of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Initially formed in 1973 under the name Osprey Red, the Black Knights have flown the Hawker Hunter, F-5 Tiger II, A-4SU Super Skyhawk and, most recently, the F-16C Fighting Falcon. The Black Knights became one of the only military jet teams in the world to use two aircraft types in their display when they performed with four A-4 Skyhawks and two F-16s at Asian Aerospace 2000. The Black Knights performed their first overseas display in 2008 at Don Muang Airport in Bangkok. They also performed at the Singapore Airshow and National Day Parade that year. The team's most recent display season was in 2014-2015, including six-ship displays at the Singapore Airshow and SG50 celebrations as well as two-ship displays at the Australian International Airshow and LIMA Langkawi. All six jets sported a brand new red and white paint scheme for the duration of the season. They were stood down after National Day Parade on August 9th 2016, however several jets remain in Black Knights colours.
