The Blades Aerobatic Team

Founded in 2005, The Blades are a subsidiary of 2Excel Aviation. Comprised of ex-Red Arrows pilots, they perform regularly at many of the UK's largest airshows as well as offering experience flights to paying customers. Being the only aerobatic team licensed to undertake both activities, they advertise themselves as "the world's only aerobatic airline". Additionally, they hold the world record for the most consecutive loops flown in formation: 26. The Blades regularly change their colour scheme and have flown with blue/black, silver/black and orange/black paint schemes.
