MILAVIA values the privacy of our visitors and customers. In this privacy policy you will find more about what, when and how that information is collected. By using the MILAVIA website and services you accept this policy.

MILAVIA collects two types of information; personal information and non-personal information.

Personal Information

MILAVIA collects the following personal information from you: your name, e-mail, address, location, telephone number. We collect this information from you only when you provide it to us. For example on one of the following occasions:
- when you enter your name, contact information, and shipping address at PayPal for products you ordered in the MILAVIA Shop.
- when you take part in the monthly quiz, submitting your name, e-mail and location.
- when you have won the quiz prize and provide us your shipping address.
- when you subscribe to the newsletter, submitting your name and e-mail.
- when you communicate with us, your name and e-mail will be collected.
- when you fill out the registration form and public profile at the forum.

Non-Personal Information

MILAVIA collects non-personal information such as your browser type, the URL of the previous web site you visited, your ISP, operating system, and your IP Address. This information is collected in two ways, first by our server's access logs and secondly by the Webstats4u counter located on the shop mainpage. To a limited extend similar information is collected by the Aviation Top 100 button. Non-personal information can not be used to identify you.
This information is used to track your use of the website for internal purposes, particularly providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving the website.

Financial Information

We do not collect your financial information, such as credit card number. Your financial information is solely being requested on industry-standard 128-bit SSL secured connection by third parties such as PayPal or Amazon.com. MILAVIA is not reponsible for the way these parties collect, store, retrieve and use this information. As of now, MILAVIA is unable to offer this level of security, therefor no financial information is collected on this site. We use PayPal payment system instead. PayPal will keep your financial information secure and confidential, it will not be revealed to us.

Disclosure of Information

In principle, MILAVIA does not intentionally disclose your information to third parties without your consent. However MILAVIA reserves the right to do so when necessary to the operation and continued growth of our business or to protect the rights of others.

Disclosure to Successors. MILAVIA may disclose your personal information to any successor-in-interest of ours, such as a company that acquires us. In the event MILAVIA goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or by a notice on our website of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Disclosure to Unaffiliated Third Parties. MILAVIA may disclose your Personal Information to prevent an emergency, to protect or enforce our rights, to protect or enforce the rights of a third party, or as required or permitted by law (including, without limitation, to comply with a subpoena or court order).

Disclosure to Third-Party Service Providers. MILAVIA may contract with various third parties who help us provide and maintain the website and/or other MILAVIA services, including product shipping. For example, MILAVIA uses a third-party to process payments made to us, and subcontracted out production, fulfillment, and/or other operations. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent such third parties from disclosing your Personal Information, except for the purpose of providing the services in question. Disclosure to Public Your personal information is not made public without prior consent. In case of the monthly quiz, the user has to tick the appropriate button when he/she does not wish to have his/her name and location published on the website. In case of the forum the user is making the submitted information public and accepts all responsibilities of making any information, not restricted to personal information public, including but not restricted to copyright related issues.

Disclosure of non-personal information

MILAVIA can provide this information to strategic partners, advertising clients, or other associates. The Webstats4u and Avitop collected information is publicly accessible and not controlled by us.

Information Provided at Third Parties

MILAVIA assumes no reponsibility for the way third parties collect, store, retrieve and use information provided by you. We also have no access or control over the information the third party provides to you.

Cookies

The MILAVIA website can use cookies to track visitor's use of the website and facilitate forum login and provide personalized service to the visitor. These cookies are harmless and do not collect personal information. Some of our business partners (webstats4u, avitop, advertisers) might use cookies on our site.
