Norway Signs LOA for Four C-130J Hercules Transports
The governments of Norway and the United States have signed a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) for the sale of four Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules tactical transport aircraft to Norway.
The first aircraft will be delivered in October 2008, followed by the second in 2009 and the last two in 2010.
The Norwegian Air Force's 335 squadron currently operates six elderly C-130H Hercules transports, which will be replaced by the four C-130Js in 2010.
