17 NovAirbus Defence and Space delivers first A400M to Spain
The Spanish Air Force has taken delivery of its first Airbus A400M new generation airlifter – the most advanced aircraft to have been produced in Spain and one which will transform the nation’s air mobility fleet.
Today’s contractual handover of the first of 27 aircraft that it has ordered makes Spain the sixth nation to put the A400M into service.
28 JulNetherlands and Luxembourg buy tanker aircraft together
The Netherlands is ready to purchase 2 Airbus tanker/transport aircraft with Luxembourg. The aircraft will be NATO property and will be stationed at Eindhoven Air Base for pooling and sharing. Belgium, Germany, Norway and Poland intend to join the agreement at a later date.
25 JunBlue Angels Resume Schedule
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will return to its 2016 demonstration schedule July 2-4 in Traverse City, Michigan, Commander, Naval Air Forces announced.
04 JunBlue Angel F/A-18 Crashes During Smyrna TN Air Show Practice
San Diego, Calif. (NNS) -- San Diego, Calif. - An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron crashed during yesterday's air show practice at the Smyrna, Tenn., Airport. The pilot, who did not survive, has been identified.
