U.S. Navy's P-8A Poseidon reaches Initial Operational Capability

P-8A Poseidon No. 429, assigned to the "War Eagles" of Patrol Squadron 16 (VP-16), builds speed Nov. 29 during takeoff from Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla. The event represents the squadron's historic first operational deployment of the Poseidon.
