MILAVIA MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

part of the MILAVIA Military Aviation website, www.milavia.net
INTRODUCTION
A bit late, actually on the last day of the month, but here is the November 2004 issue of the MILAVIA Newsletter. A big welcome to the new subscribers, I hope you like the newsletter. Feel free to send my any feedback. Now, let us see what happened in November:
WEBSITE UPDATES
Someone has been cheating with the website poll. On the main page there was a poll which enables you to vote for the aircraft which you like to see added. The Su-27 Flanker was clearly in first position until someone decided to vote 300 times for the A-7 Corsair II. Although I am currently focused on the Flanker Family, the A-7 and A-4 (second and third place) will be next. A new poll should be up and running once you have finished reading this newsletter. I will add it when I have finished this.

Then, there is the guestbook, which has fallen victim to 'guestbook spammers'. Certain people are abusing it to promote certain (unrelated!) websites. If I see any message like this, I will remove it as soon as possible. But since this was not enough, I also removed the homepage and URL functions from the form. However, it seems that these people add messages in another way, because they keep adding message with homepage links. So until I further resolve this issue, I recommend you not to click on the links in the guestbook as they may contain spyware, malware or other kinds of nasty content. If you already did, please check your system for viruses and run an anti-spyware tool, such as SpyBot Search & Destroy.

Like I said, I am still working on the Flanker sections. The work is about 60% complete and will be finished before Christmas. I promise you it will be worth waiting for. As soon as the Flanker section is up, I will also send the December Newsletter to notify you all.
