Airshow pictures : Royal Netherlands Air Force Open Day 2004 at Volkel AB

On friday 18 and saturday 19 of June 2004, the annual open days of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF or KLu) were held again. This time at Volkel Main Operating Base. The RNLAF celebrates this year its 25th year of F-16 operations. For this special occasion the original General Dynamics F-16A demonstrator was put on display. The traditional (since a few years) RNLAF air power demo was not as impressive as normal because of the deployment of AH-64D Apaches, CH-47D Chinooks and Cougars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
