Krisakti is Malaysia's national aerobatics team and consists of four Extra 300L flown by Royal Malaysian Air Force pilots. The aircraft are provided by Aerotree, a Malaysian aviation services company.
The team was established by the Malaysian government as part of the 1Malaysia project, the selected pilots are from different ethnic groups to promote national unity. Partnering with Aerotree in December 2010, the 1Malaysia Aerial Display Team was established using the Extra 300L. After type conversion the pilots were trained by The Blades aerobatic team in the UK. The 1Malaysia team was named Krisakti, after the traditional Malaysian symbol Kris Sakti (magic dagger). Krisakti made its public debut at LIMA in December 2011.
