The Yakovlevs Aerobatic Display Team

The Yakovlevs are a civilian aerobatic team based in the UK but displaying worldwide. They have performed two-ship and four-ship routines to much acclaim at some of the UK's largest airshows, including the RNAS Yeovilton Air Day, Duxford Airshow and Biggin Hill Festival of Flight. In 2016 they became the only UK-based team capable of skywriting using computer-controlled smoke generators. They have also performed across China and India and are expected to debut their 6-ship routine at the World Formation Aerobatics Championships in Zhengzhou in May 2017.
