01 DecUSAF Single-ship Demos Reduced to F-22 Only for 2012 Air Shows
The U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command issued a statement that it will reduce its single-ship airshow demo teams due to fiscal constraints. Of the six teams, only the F-22 demonstration team will perform at up to 20 shows for the 2012 season.

Lockheed Martin completed assembly of the first international F-35 Lightning II. The United Kingdom Ministry of Defence will use the short takeoff/vertical landing (STOVL) jet, known as BK-1, for training and operational tests.
21 OctDelivery of RAAF Super Hornets Completed
Four new Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornets joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Super Hornet fleet at RAAF Base Amberley today, completing delivery of all 24 RAAF Super Hornets.

The final four Super Hornets were welcomed by 16 other RAAF F/A-18Fs for a mass formation flypast.
04 AugMorocco Receives First Four F-16 Advanced Block 52s
The first four new Lockheed Martin advanced Block 52 F-16s produced for the Royal Moroccan Air Force departed the Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 1 for their ferry flight to Morocco. The Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) unveiled the first four of 24 F-16 aircraft in a ceremony today at Ben Guerrir Air Base in Morocco.

The first Airbus Military C295 development aircraft fitted with an Airbone Early Warning and Command (AEW&C) rotodome has successfully completed its first flight on 7th June 2011 at Airbus Military’s site in Seville (Spain).

Chief of Naval Air Training, Rear Adm. Bill Sizemore, relieved Cmdr. Dave Koss, Commanding Officer of the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron Friday, May 27, at his request following a lower-than-normal maneuver during the team’s last performance at the Lynchburg Regional Air Show May 22.

The first F-35C test aircraft (CF-1) flew faster than the speed of sound for the first time over a test range near the Navy and Marine Corps F-35 integrated test facility at Naval Air Station Patuxent River March 4, 2011.

Moscow, March 3. Today the first flight of the 2nd prototype of the fifth generation aviation complex (PAK FA) took place in Komsomolsk - on - Amur.
25 FebLockheed Martin Flies First Production F-35 Stealth Fighter
The first production model of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II made its first flight today at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. The jet will head to Edwards Air Force Base, California., to support developmental testing shortly after the Air Force takes delivery this spring.

23 FebThailand receives first batch of Gripen fighters
The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has now taken delivery of six Gripen C/D fighters. These aircraft belong to the first batch ordered in 2008. In total, Thailand has ordered 12 Gripen.
