Two More Hungarian Gripen Fighters Delivered
Two more Saab Gripen fighters have been delivered to the Hungary. The single-seat JAS 39C aircraft landed at the Kecskémet air base in Hungary on August 8th, 2007, following their delivery flights from FMV´s facility outside Linköping, Sweden.
The remaining three Hungarian Gripen aircraft will be delivered progressively until the end of 2007, bringing the Hungarian Air Force up to its full complement of 14 Gripen fighters. Hungary is the third nation, after Sweden and the Czech Republic, to operate the Gripen fighter and is receiving the latest C (single seat) and D (two seat) versions of the aircraft.
