On December 13, 2007, the final three Hungarian Gripen fighters of the total order for 14 aircraft for the Hungarian Air Force arrived at Kecskémet air base in Hungary.
The aircraft, of the latest C export standard, were flown from FMVs facility outside Linkoping to Hungary by pilots from the Swedish Air Force. All deliveries are now completed, on time and in accordance with the contract.
Hungary is the third European nation, after Sweden and the Czech Republic, and the second NATO nation to operate the Gripen C and D.
These versions of the Gripen fighter are equipped with full colour cockpit displays, a retractable air-to-air refueling probe and are fully NATO-interoperable.
